Tai Chi for Seniors

$45Tai Chi is an effective exercise to improve health and well-being. Tai Chi is a low intensity type of physical activity that exercises the entire body, all the joints, muscles and internal organs and at the same time, strengthens the mind. Tai Chi relieves stress and brings harmony to yourself and others. Tai Chi is an excellent way for older adults to prevent falls. Exercises like Tai Chi that focus on leg strength and improving balance are especially good. The important thing is that Tai Chi is enjoyable and it will make you feel better about yourself. When you feel good about yourself everything else gets better.
Tai Chi classes begin at Spectrum Generations' Muskie Center, 38 Gold Street in Waterville on October 16. Classes will run on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Cost is $45.00 for 16 sessions!
