Wheel Throwing Clay Class

- Sunday, March 12, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Have you always wanted to learn to use the potter’s wheel to turn clay into beautiful wheel-thrown pottery? This fun, fast-paced class will help you tap into your creativity while learning the basic skills of throwing on the wheel. Master potter Tim Christensen will guide you through wedging, centering, forming, trimming, throwing, and decorating with high-temperature stains, slips, and glazes. This two-day immersive class will help you develop the skills needed to form and finish your very own pottery. This weekend workshop is for beginner or experienced potters alike, and there will be ample opportunity for following your own ideas in this supportive class.
Class size is limited to eight students, so register early! Only registrations with full payment will be guaranteed a spot.
Fee: $195 per person for the all-inclusive workshop. Includes 25 lbs. of clay!
