Maine Filmmaker Thom Willey and Passamaquoddy Artists to hold a post-screening Q&A!
Rhythms Of The Heart by Maine filmmaker Thom Willey depicts Passamaquoddy canoe and basket craftsman David Moses Bridges and his journey to preserve family, life, and tradition while facing a life threatening illness. A lifetime resident of Southwest Harbor, Willey’s work includes such films as Dan In Real Life, Courage Under Fire, and multiple Stephen King film adaptations. Original music for the film composed and recorded by Southwest Harbor’s Chris Gray. Rhythms Of The Heart was funded in part by a grant from the Maine Arts Commission, an independent state agency supported by the National Endowment for the Arts. (Unrated, 80 min.)
