Arts in Bloom

FreeThis spring extravaganza in association with the art and cultural partners throughout Waterville, invites families to explore creativity and celebrate the spring season with these free programs scheduled throughout the day! Participants can pick up an Arts in Bloom Passport from participating organizations on May 19th and go to each event listed - collecting awesome stamps and making fabulous art all along the way.
Schedule:
10:00am-12:00pm: Free Screening of Microcosmos with live insect demonstration at Railroad Square Cinema.
10:30-11:30am: Story Hour at the Waterville Public Library with a Dr. Seuss character.
12:00-1:00pm: Make your own American Weathervane with the Colby College Museum of Art at Common Street Arts.
12:00-1:00pm: Yoga for Adults at School Street Yoga. Try a yoga class to de-stress and re-connect with yourself. Beginners are welcome. First come, first served.
12:30 p.m. Artist Reception for Jean Ann Pollard & Laurie Sproul for their new exhibition: “Fish in Bloom” at the Waterville Public Library.
1:00-2:00pm: Coloring Station and Live Amphibians at Waterville Public Library.
1:30-2:30pm: Yoga for the Kids at School Street Yoga. Parents are welcome to stay and experience the class with their child. Ages 4-10.
2:30-3:30pm: Tree Walk and Drawings with Common Street Arts in Castonguay Square. Go on an artistic adventure in nature.
