#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving, fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving , #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.
Maine Children's Home for Little Wanderers is joining this movement to help their Adoption & Counseling programs build an inventory of sensory-rich items as they build a program of training for parents and children in Central Maine and beyond. Their Adoption Program Director, Lindsay Bragdon, and Clinical Director, Deb Levenseller, are the only two practitioners in the state of Maine for Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®). TBRI® is an attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children.
