Night at The Museum Flashlight Tours
October 18, 2019, 5:00 PM – 8:30 PM
An event every week that begins at 5:00 PM on Friday, repeating until October 25, 2019
Halloween comes alive and is fun at the L. C. Bates Museum’s annual Night at the Museum Flashlight Tours held on two Friday nights, October 18 & 25, 5:00 – 8:30 p.m. Come see our animal exhibits in a new light, the evening light. The Flashlight Tours are great for families. They include holiday scavenger hunts and activities like dissecting owl pellets in the classroom after your tour. The museum has many unique decorations that give a new meaning to our bird collections and a special night view of the museum’s animals. Their eyes will glow and so will you.
What can be more fun for a child? Bring a flashlight, come dressed up or not, your choice. Even adults enjoy the nights at the museum events! A little creepy, but totally awesome, flashlight tours include the decorated museum, Halloween hunts, and animal activities in the classroom. You can dissect some owl pellets, view some animal skulls, make a bat or spider craft and more after the tours.
The Museum Halloween décor can be exciting in the day time too. You can also come during the day between October 16 and November 1 from 10 to 4:30 Wednesday through Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
Admission: $3 for adults, $1 for children.
