Sam Raimi’s 1981 bloodfest horror classic The Evil Dead returns to theaters for the first time in 4K with a terrifying new soundtrack. This special edition of The Evil Dead presents the film for the first time with a reimagined score by original composer Joseph DeLuca and a thrilling new 5.1 surround mix. Raimi restored his horror trendsetter from the original 16mm camera negatives, and brought the stunning 4K transfer together with LoDuca’s new soundtrack. Raimi went on from here to make Darkman, Army of Darkness, The Gift, and Spider Man 1, 2 & 3.
