The Artist Toolbox, led by Kim Bernard, is designed for artists who want to develop the skills necessary to successfully represent themselves and advance professionally. Creating a strong, body of work is the most important part of being an artist, but how do you pay the bills, juggle time, money, studio and life? This workshop will do a dive deep into high-priority topics such as: image documentation, finding exhibiting venues, artist-gallery relationships, writing an artist’s statement, bio and resume, building a website, networking, getting exposure, social media, grant writing, finding residencies, time management, money management, income, expenses and sustaining an ongoing professional creative practice. Workshop runs June 8 - 11, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
