Maine Student Film Crew: Sounds Good!
February 11, 2021, 7:00 PM
FreeDo you know a 7th-12th grader interested in everything from cinematography to sound design? Join the Maine Student Film Crew, a new educational membership program for Maine students in grades 7-12. Participants will have access to free monthly workshops led by a filmmaker or production professional and have the opportunity to create their own work and win prizes.
The next workshop will be “Sounds Good!,” led by professional sound recordist Justin Lacroix on Thursday, February 11 at 7 p.m. on Zoom. Learn the art of recording sound, creating sound effects, and giving your viewers the real-life experience that comes with recording the sounds of life! Students who participate will be entered to win prizes and gear. Future workshops will cover a range of production skills including sound and editing.
Presented by the Maine Film Center and Mid-Maine Technical Center.
