Farewell to Ellie the Elm

The large American Elm in Castonguay Square in the heart of Waterville is dying.
Many people are feeling super sad about it -
so we are all planning an event to celebrate her!
Waterville will have a celebration of the life of Ellie the Elm
on June 16th at 2:30 in the afternoon.
We are planning poems, speeches, and art making.
We will keep some of the wood for creativity projects
and keep some as part of Waterville’s history.
All are welcome.
