At this potluck, you will hear updates about the Association and also updates from your neighbors.
We look forward to hearing from everyone if only just to say “hello”!

Among the announcements will be one from John Humphrey, who will reach out at this supper to see whether we would be interested in participating in a community bike ride series that he’s putting together this summer and fall. The idea was inspired by a cycling group he rode with in Rochester, NY that successfully kept challenging-but-accessible group rides going for more than 15 years.
His plan is to organize 3–5 rides over the coming months, varying in distance and scope but all centered around Head of Falls and connected by safe routes that explore different parts of Waterville. Riders should be comfortable maintaining roughly a 12-14 mph pace, so some level of fitness is required, but the overall vibe is relaxed, social, and exploratory experience rather than competitive.
The first ride of the summer will be intended as a gentle introduction to the concept for anyone willing to give it a try.

If there is time permitting and interest in those in attendance, we may break up into groups with common interests such as:

• A Board Game Group

• Help Plant/Build a Community Garden

• Meal Group — Feed Those In Need

• Walking/Jogging Group

• Pick Up Litter Day

• Singing Group

• Dancing Group

• Help Neighbors With Chores/Errands

• Pen Pal Group

• Honor Elders — Visit Oak Grove Center

• Composting

• Lost Pet Alerts

• Neighborhood Watch (18+ Only)
