All That Breathes

January 11, 2023, 7:00 PM

$14.50 – $16

In the first image of the incredibly great documentary All That Breathes, the camera slowly takes us into the rain-soaked, dirty, unpaved streets of Delhi, India, where, by the end of the shot, we’ve gone from disgust to delight—the ugly streets are actually teeming with animal life! We are now ready to join brothers Nadeem and Saud, who have made it their mission in life to care for the streets and skies' black kites, majestic birds of prey essential to Delhi’s ecosystem, who have been dropping from those skies at alarming rates. What they do is a human-made miracle — and so is this film, which makes us truly see nature, human beings and the world differently — and exaltedly.

All That Breathes blends a verité-style character study with gorgeous nature cinematography while never losing the film’s overall commentary on how man interacts with nature — or merely chooses to destroy it through inaction.” —Brian Tallerico, Rogerebert.com.

Admission: $16 adults, $14.50 students + seniors. Eligible for the Youth Arts Access Fund.
