Each Thursday, join the Colby College Museum of Art to spend thirty minutes with one work of art on view in their gallery spaces. This week, Joshua Veilleux, Downtown Gallery Assistant, will facilitate the conversation, focusing on Jojo by Ashley Bryan, located in the Joan Dignam Schmaltz Gallery of Art at Paul J. Schupf Art Center.
Art Break programs are grounded in the practice of slow looking, an educational approach that asks people to give patient, immersive attention to a work of art as a way to make connections and create meaning for themselves. These looking experiences will be facilitated by museum staff, interns, docents, and special guests.
