Art in the Park is back! Once again, Waterville Creates has joined forces with the Waterville Public Library and the Colby College Museum of Art to offer dynamic, creative summer programming to provide arts experiences for all. This season will kick off with a new summer reading series and will have lots of engaging arts activities each week. Special guests will include practicing artists, local musicians, and area teachers!

Each Thursday participants at Art in the Park will create works based on a book or community theme. Watch a “how to” project demonstration, then make your own creation at Head of Falls, the large, open, green space located in downtown Waterville adjacent to the historic Kennebec River.

Each week, a book will be read aloud to participants as they build and create. Bring a blanket or chair to get comfortable while listening and creating. This program is free and open to all ages and levels of experience.

We will reschedule or cancel in the event of rain.
