Art in the Park

FreeSun Prints
Celebrate summer and the heat of our home star by making sun prints at art in the park. This unique project uses paper that undergoes a chemical change when exposed to sun light to creates beautiful prints. Each print uses natural objects including leaves, flowers and ferns!
This program will be cancelled if there is inclement weather.
Art in the Park, a program of Common Street Arts is designed to foster creativity and community among residents and visitors to Waterville. Art in the Park is a free, weekly program that takes place each Thursday at River walk at Head of Falls during the Farmers’ Market. Art in the Park partners with area teaching artists to develop unique arts programming — providing accessible workshops and special family-friendly activities for community members to engage in creative practices that relate to ongoing exhibitions at Common Street Arts, as well as related programs at the Maine Film Center, Colby Museum of Art, Waterville Public Library, and Waterville Opera House.
