Moth Sculptures with Nick Athanasiou
Create your own moth sculpture inspired by the remarkable Light Sentinels installation in Waterville’s Castonguay Square! Nature, with its millennia-old wonders, continually takes our breath away, confounds, and ultimately inspires us. While color is often associated with pigmentation (a chemical process), it is the interaction of light with physical structures (a physical process) that predominantly features in nature. A striking example of this is the vividly colored wings of butterflies and moths! Follow a step-by-step journey to create your own moth with Australian artist Nick Athanasiou.
