Auditions for The Play That Goes Wrong
December 12, 2022, 6:00 PM
An event every day that begins at 6:00 PM, repeating until December 13, 2022
Part Monty Python, part Sherlock Holmes, The Play That Goes Wrong is a play-within-a-play that follows the Cornley Drama Society’s production of the 1920’s whodunit, “The Murder at Haversham Manor.” Despite their best efforts, the production rapidly goes from bad to disastrous, with madcap mishaps and choregraphed chaos—from an unconscious leading lady, a corpse that can’t play dead, a self-destructing set, and actors who trip over everything (including their lines). Nevertheless, the accident-prone thespians battle against all odds to make it through to their final curtain call, with hilarious consequences!
Auditions: December 12 & 13, 6:00 p.m.
Performance Dates: March 31 and April 1, 7, & 8 at 7:30 p.m. and April 2 & 9 at 2:00 p.m.
