Bat Appreciation Week

$1 – $3Between April 2 – April 8 is Bat Appreciation Week! Did you know bats can eat up to 1,200 mosquitoes in an hour and often consume their body weight in insects every night! Mosquitos carry diseases that can be very harmful to humans, so that makes bats pretty awesome! Maine is even home to more than 8 bat species. So, come on in and learn about bat adaptations and things you can do to help bats.
