Colby Symphony Orchestra – Hope and Harmony, part 2
April 24, 2021, 7:30 PM
Free
This spring the Colby Music Department wanted to make music that reflected the hope that spring brings to Maine. While they did not have a theme for this concert, two pieces by Gustav Holst were chosen, because of his focus on the music of nature. Making music is a powerful way to bring people together, and joining people together through the hope of spring has been a goal of this program. This concert will also feature this year’s winner of the annual Concerto Competition, Esther Kim ’21, performing "Zigeunerweisen" by Sarasate.
This event will be livestreamed on Colby Music's YouTube channel or Facebook event page
