FreeJoin the Colby College Museum of Art for a day of family-friendly art, creative workshops, music, food, and interactive gallery experiences.
Create your own works of art at the Art Tent with Lunder Institute resident fellow Genevieve Gaignard and Papay Solomon. Engage in looking activities in our galleries, and spend time in our exhibitions—Painted: Our Bodies, Hearts, and Village, Whistler: Streetscapes, Urban Change, Come Closer: Selections from the Collection, 1978–1994, and Constellations: Forming the Collection, 1973–2023.
We’ll also have outdoor games courtesy of the Children’s Discovery Museum and Colby Student Engagement, live music, free refreshments from Stone Fox Farm Creamery ice cream and Taco the Town, button-making with the Waterville Public Library, and other activities provided by our community partners.
This event is free and open to all and is supported by Friends of Art.
