Community Draw

March 2, 2022, 6:00 PM8:00 PM

$10

Join us for Figure drawing class, now on WEDNESDAY NIGHTS in our new and improved location within the Hathaway Building! See below for more about our new location.

Seasoned and aspiring artists are invited to participate in this costumed figure drawing program. This class offers a unique opportunity for emerging and established artists to hone their drawing skills in a supportive environment. Participants bring their media of choice: charcoal, pastels, paint, clay, etc. Ticonic will provide the chairs, model, and camaraderie.

All levels of experience are welcome. Each class will begin with a quick drawing warm-up exercise guided by the instructor, followed by timed, open-drawing sessions. There will be an optional 15-minute critique after class.

Due to its popularity, we’ve decided to expand our Costumed Draw class into the Waterville Opera House Rehearsal studio, located on the east side of the Hathaway Building. To find us, you will enter the building through the East Entrance (closest to the river), turn right past the elevator and enter the WOH Rehearsal Studio door located to the right of KV Crossfit.

All participants must have proof of vaccination (or a negative Covid test) and be masked during the event. For more info on the Waterville Creates Covid policy, please see our website home page.
