For one night only, we bring back the poignant comedy Everything is Illuminated, about a young man exploring his Jewish heritage in a visit to Ukraine. Elijah Wood plays Jonathan, a spectacled neurotic American intent on finding the woman who saved his grandfather from the Nazis. The film starts as a humorous road movie, then deepens as Jonathan confronts the overwhelming history of his family during the Holocaust. “Everything is Illuminated is a film that grows in reflection” –Roger Ebert.
