Gene and Lucille Letourneau Ice Fishing Derby

Spectrum Generations’ 24th Annual Gene and Lucille Letourneau Ice Fishing Derby will be held at our Muskie Community Center at 38 Gold Street in Waterville, Maine. Bring your family and warm up next to the fire pit, play a game of corn hole, or treat yourself to a smore at the smore's bar! Food will be available for purchase.
The derby promotes outdoor sports and helps raise funds for Spectrum Generations’ Muskie Community Center—a place where older and/or disabled adults can gather for socialization with friends, numerous activities to keep them engaged, and health and wellness classes to maintain vitality of mind and body!
Established by Maine’s great outdoorsman and his wife, Gene and Lucille Letourneau, the Ice Fishing Derby attracts people throughout the state to compete for cash prizes including the largest catch in several categories.
This multi-generational family event also introduces young people to the art and fun of outdoor sports as an alternative to experimenting with drugs, tobacco and alcohol. Children ages 15 and under are encouraged to compete.
Tickets are on sale now at the Muskie Community Center. Ticket prices: 1 for $3.00, 2 for $5.00, 5 for $10.00.
Each ticket purchase allows a fish entry and an entry into the drawing for the door prize—a Yeti Tundra 65 cooler valued at $500.00, sponsored by Nale Law Offices.
