We are pleased to have our artist and friend, Desiree DuBois, join us via Facebook to present her paintings and unique rock art designs.
Skowhegan artist, Desiree DuBois, has been exploring and developing her creative passion since she was 3 years old! She is inspired by her love of the outdoors. A stone on a path during a walk one spring, caught her attention as it appeared to echo the silhouette of human face. That stone was the first of many stones, which under her skilled hand, have become “stone people”. These figures have a three-dimensional quality that often causes people to marvel that the stone is not carved!
