Hand Building with Clay

$175"Hand building" is working with clay by hand using only simple tools, not the pottery wheel. Before potters employed the wheel, they were creating beautiful pots and clay forms by hand. During this six-week class, we will cover the three most common forms of creating hand-built pots: pinch pot, coiling, and slab techniques. Students will fire and glaze the works they create. No previous ceramic experience needed.
