Post-film Q&A with screenwriter Mark Poirier!

Pre-film reception at 6:00 p.m.

Johanna Parry, a quiet caregiver, starts a new job working for an elderly Mr. McCauley and his teenage granddaughter Sabitha. A cruel trick by Sabitha lands Johanna in an awkward one-way relationship with Ken, Sabitha's estranged father. But Johanna’s courage changes everything.

The film will be followed by a discussion with Mark Poirier, who wrote the screenplay. Poirier’s other screenplays are for the movies Smart People and Goats. He will be joining Colby College’s English Department and Creative Writing Program to teach a screenwriting course this spring.

Admission is free, but you must reserve your ticket in advance.
