Maine Start Summit
April 29, 2022 – May 1, 2022
$25The Maine Start Summit, presented by the Roux Institute, is an annual series of four, three-day-long hackathons, designed to lower the barrier of entry for aspiring founders and startup curious individuals to join Maine’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Supporting collaboration between participants from across the state, attendees are invited to form teams, develop a unique idea, and with the help of an all-star line-up of mentors, learn how to build and pitch a successful business.
Maine Start Summit at Thomas College participants will develop business ideas in Food Systems/AgTech or take the Unchartered Path to develop a business idea in a sector of your choice. Cash prizes will be awarded to the first and second place teams, and there are additional opportunities for sponsors to provide prizes. You don’t even have to have an idea… just an open mind and a ‘can do’ attitude!
If you would like to participate in the event but can’t commit to the entire weekend, simply input the code SUMMIT22 upon registration. Although you will not be able to participate on a team and compete for prizes, you will still have the ability to participate in all the other activities throughout the event.
Registration Fee: $25. Registration and includes summit entrance and participation Friday through Sunday, swag items, and meals (“heavy appetizers” on Friday; breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Saturday; and breakfast and lunch on Sunday).
