Mystery Making: How the Stories Get Told
July 15, 2019, 6:00 PM
FreeWith intense audience participation, Maine mystery writers Maureen Milliken, Kate Flora, and Sandra Neily will build a mystery novel on the fly — or at least the plan for one. In the process, you'll learn how writers make the decisions when they create their books. Hilarity generally ensues.
Maureen Milliken, author of the Bernie O'Dea mystery series, is a newspaper writer and editor who lives in Belgrade. Kate Clark Flora worked in the Maine attorney general's office before turning to crime fiction with the Thea Kozak and Joe Burgess series. Sandra Neily has worked as a registered Maine guide and a whitewater river outfitter and is the author of the Patton Conover mysteries.
All authors will have books available for sale after the program. Light refreshments will be provided.
