Porpora is a road trip across Italy and through the life of Porpora Marcasciano, a leading figure of the Italian trans movement. While traversing the Italian peninsula from the north to the south, Porpora and her traveling companion, Vittorio, retrace the key moments and places of her life: her involvement in the 1977 protest movement, her experience as sex worker, and her political engagement.
