School Show: Romeo + Juliet
October 16, 9:30 AM
During the academic year, the Waterville Opera House offers a selection of performances designed to meet the curricular, financial, and scheduling needs of area classrooms and homeschool groups. Spanning the topics of children’s literature, science, and history through plays and musical performances, these events are many students’ first opportunity to experience live performing arts. Each year, over 4,000 children participate in the Waterville Opera House School Shows program.
In Romeo and Juliet, written by William Shakespeare, directed by Dawn McAndrews, and presented by the Theater at Monmouth, the young, ill-fated couple, who unite only four brief times, arguably engage in the greatest literary love story for the ages.
This show is 6 - 12. Tickets must be reserved in advance.
