She Said

February 24, 2023, 6:45 PM

Free

She Said is the unflinching depiction of the explosive Harvey Weinstein sexual assault story, reported by New York Times journalists Megan Twohey (played superbly by Carey Mulligan) and Jodi Kantor (Zoe Kazan). Along with their editor, Rebecca Corbett, they uncovered decades of Weinstein's abuse, and more importantly, the brave women who wanted to go on the record. We are excited to host NYT editor Rebecca Corbett, who cut her teeth at our very own Morning Sentinel as she started her career in journalism.

Corbett will join us after the film for a discussion about the Weinstein story, her beginnings in Waterville, and what it's like to be portrayed by Patricia Clarkson. Tickets are free but must be reserved in advance.
