SLICE: 3D Print Design and Fabrication

Students will learn how to locate existing 3d designs, discover the basics of 3d printers, and develop a working knowledge of tinkercad software.

SLICE (Students Learning Innovative Creative Endeavors) is a pilot program to encourage students ages 13 – 19 to explore the behind-the-scenes operations at an historic opera house, an award-winning public library, a nationally recognized art museum, and an independent arthouse at Railroad Square Cinema. Partnering with arts professionals throughout the city, this program will provide young adults with unique experiences to learn more about career paths in the creative arts. Each afternoon will be packed with interesting programming, inspiration, and pizza!
