SLICE: On Camera Acting with Debra Lord Cooke

SLICE (Students Learning Innovative Creative Endeavors) is a Waterville Creates program for students ages 13–19 that offers unique experiences at creative arts organizations throughout Waterville.
SLICE: On Camera Acting with Debra Lord Cooke will provide an overview of skills specific to acting for film, tv, and commercials, as well as an opportunity to perform in a virtual setting. Body positioning, movement, use of voice, and eye contact will be covered as it relates to commercial and narrative projects. Participants will be coached on introductions (slates), and have an opportunity to perform commercial copy and a short monologue which will be provided prior to the seminar. A Q&A at the end of the seminar will allow for participants to ask questions about the film, TV, and commercial industry.
