Songs and Stories for a Small Planet
January 13, 2019, 10:00 AM
Guest speaker: Jackson Gillman, a professional story teller
A celebration of nature with an eye to where we fit in and how we can help sustain our world.
Jackson Gillman’s ecology background from the College of the Atlantic informs much of his work, with a wide variety of nature-oriented programs in repertoire. He has performed for the North American Alliance for Environmental Education, and for many different religious organizations. He helps others develop and share their own personal stories during his Springboards for Stories workshops held annually in the inspiring setting of Kipling's historic Vermont home. For the January term at Colby College, he teaches the Wide World of Story.
