Taste of Waterville
August 7, 2019
Taste of Waterville has been held annually every August since 1992. Each summer one can find a line-up of food trucks and restaurants offering their most popular dishes in the downtown. This foodie event is loved by locals and it is a tasteful family-friendly event showcasing the regions culinary flavors with a little bit of something for everyone.
This year Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce is encouraging community engagement by inviting area agency nonprofits to plan a family-friendly event or activity, preferably around food or physical activity, to attract people to the downtown area as well as support their nonprofit. Events scheduled include:
- Humane Society Waterville Area -- food drive & adoption event at the Bill and Joan Alfond Main St. Commons, Chace Forum from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Children’s Discovery Museum’s mobile museum exhibit at REM, 31 Temple St., from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. where REM will again be offering their popular Ice Cream Brownie Sandwiches!
