The Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia
October 3, 2019, 6:55 PM
FreeProducer Martin Smith will be present to introduce a new, important episode of one of TV’s most honored show. One year after the murder of columnist Jamal Khashoggi, a two-hour Frontline documentary investigates the rise and rule of Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman of Saudi Arabia (MBS). Correspondent Martin Smith, who has covered the Middle East for Frontline for 20 years, examines the crown prince’s vision for the future, his handling of dissent, his relationship with the United States — and his ties to Khashoggi’s killing. A reception will follow the screening. (2019, Unrated, 120 min.)
This documentary debuts on PBS's Frontline two days earlier. It can be seen October 1, 9:oo p.m. on Maine Public Television. The Railroad Square screening is sponsored by the Goldfarb Center for Public Affairs and the Lovejoy Convocation at Colby College.
