The Iron Giant

December 29, 3:00 PM4:30 PM

"You are who you choose to be." Based on the 1968 novel The Iron Man by Ted Hughes, The Iron Giant is a beloved animated classic that brings Cold War tension to the fictional town of Rockwell, Maine. One night in October of 1957, an enormous object from space crashes into the ocean. Nine-year-old Hogarth (Eli Marienthal) soon discovers that the extraterrestrial object is, in fact, a massive metal robot. Hogarth befriends the Iron Giant (Vin Diesel), avoiding the scrutiny of his mother Annie (Jennifer Aniston) and enlisting the aid of local artist Dean (Harry Connick Jr.). Trouble, however, comes to Rockwell in the form of Kent Mansley (Christopher McDonald), a paranoid government agent determined to track down the Iron Giant and eliminate him.
