June is in Bloom at the Museum

Hi All!

Summer in Maine is well on it's way! This is our time to thrive, people! We have a TON of exciting things to share with you. Both our Timberframe Exhibit and our Farmstand Exhibit are getting refreshed this month, thanks to generous sponsors including KV Federal Credit Union! I won't spill the beans, but there will be quite a BUZZ about them and we promise you'll have a REEL good time!

We are also THRILLED to share that in July, we will be opening up our outside space for play! This area has been under construction (wink, wink) for a while, and we can't wait for you and your kids to discover what we've been working on. Plus, there will be a great outside eating area, so bring your picnic lunches!

This month's newsletter is FULL of information about other fun events we have coming up, like Fairies and Gnomes Festival at Viles Arboretum and Tea Party Week here at the museum. Be sure to read to the bottom so you stay informed on all the fun we have stuffed into this month! Additionally, we hope you will join us for our new Wednesday program, Gardening with Julie. There is so much to look forward to!

FAIRIES AND GNOMES FESTIVAL

Join us at Viles Arboretum for a day of fun and magic! We will have fairy house building, face painting, crafts, games, live music, food, fairy hair, and more in an enchanted woodland setting.

OUTDOOR SPACE ~ COMING NEXT MONTH!

We have been brainstorming, dreaming, and strategizing how to create a super fun outdoor space for our guests to enjoy. We want the museum to be a place where people want to come on beautiful days, as well as rainy ones. We can't wait to show you our Phase 1 of this project that will be open for play this summer. We have been working to build a space for picnicking, gross motor activities, and imaginative play.
