Bring On The Summer Vibes!

Hi All!

There is SO much happening at the museum, I am literally bursting to share it all with you! I hope by now you have come to play in the museum and discovered our new Lobstah Shack and Boating Exhibits in our Timberframe. We are really channeling a legit Maine Summer Experience with these new exhibits.

We are also THRILLED to share that later this month, we will be opening up our outside space for play! We have been working closely with a fabulous playground artist, Sarah Thornton of Magic and Metal and she is building incredible natural balance beams and a climbing platform to explore. It is super beautiful and will soon be ready!

This summer we have some great new programming additions to the museum, including Gardening with Julie on Wednesdays and visits from our friends at Waterville Moves, Elm City Music, Music Together, Little Fern and Friends, Songbirds, and Soul Revival Yoga!

Additionally, the exterior of our building is getting a facelift! Onna Roll Painting will be painting our building in mid July. They will be tackling this job with help from the fabulous folks over at Eagle Rental who generously donated use of a lift! We are SUPER appreciative of their support.

Can't wait to see you all at the museum!

THANK YOU EAGLE RENTAL!

The museum is so lucky to have the support of community businesses like Eagle Rental that go above and beyond to support our mission. The donated lift from Eagle Rental makes the exterior painting of our museum possible. We are very appreciative of their generosity! Thank you, Eagle Rental!

OUTDOOR SPACE ~ COMING SOON!

We have been brainstorming, dreaming, and strategizing how to create a super fun outdoor space for our guests to enjoy. We want the museum to be a place where people want to come on beautiful days, as well as rainy ones. We can't wait to show you our Phase 1 of this project that will be open for play this summer. We have been working to build a space for picnicking, gross motor activities, and imaginative play.

We are fundraising for this play space and any size contribution helps! Interested in supporting this project? Please click below! Thank you!
