CMGC Secures Funding for Regional Tourism Promotion
The Central Maine Growth Council is pleased to share that we have received a $2,500 tourism marketing support award from the Kennebec Valley Tourism Council to support the Kennebec River District’s FY26 OTT (streaming and connected TV) marketing campaign. The campaign will promote the Kennebec River District across Southern Maine, New Hampshire, and Greater Boston, helping drive overnight visitation and showcase the region’s authentic downtowns, arts, dining, recreation, and cultural experiences. The initiative supports collaborative regional tourism efforts across Waterville, Fairfield, and Skowhegan, in partnership with Main Street Skowhegan, the Central Maine Growth Council, and the Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce.
