Artful Meditation

February 13, 2022, 2:30 PM4:30 PM

Free

Experience greater mind-body connection through our Artful Meditation and Expression program. Participants will join art therapist Bodhi Simpson in a guided meditation session followed by an art making experience. This offering will support your personal comfort with creative expression, increase self-awareness, and offer simple tools to support emotional wellbeing.

In February, our theme of Let’s Keep Going is inspired by Hurdling: Green by Reggie Burrows Hodges.

Artful Meditation and Expression is part of the museum’s wellness initiative, Let Art Inspire, which includes a variety of programs that connect mind, body, and art in innovative ways.

Please note: Due to an increase locally in COVID-19 transmissions, this month’s program will be virtual. Please register here to receive a Zoom link to join this free program and reserve your free workshop materials. Please email Kris Bergquist with any questions.

Bodhi Simpson, LCPC, ATR, is an art therapist with a private practice in Waterville, Maine, called Conscious Art Therapy. She also is a teaching artist, an adjunct college instructor, and a workshop and retreat facilitator who incorporates creative expression and work with imagination, intuition, and metaphor into the healing process. Learn more about Bodhi and sign up for her blog at www.consciousarttherapy.com.
