Submit An Event
Are you sponsoring a public event? Please tell us about it!
To be included in the REM Community Calendar, your event must:
- Take place in Waterville, Winslow, Oakland or the immediately adjoining towns;
- Be open to the public, not just to members of a particular club or organization; and
- Be sponsored by a nonprofit organization or have a clear educational, cultural, or charitable purpose.
If your organization customarily sends out press releases by email, you may add our address, , to your distribution list. Otherwise, compose a new email with the following information:
- Name of your event
- Date(s) and time(s)
- A description of the event
- Location (room number or name, street address, and town)
- Admission fee (if any)
- Name, email address, and phone number of a contact person
- Website (if any) for the event or the sponsor
Additionally, if your event is not suitable for children, requires advance registration or ticket purchase, or has a rain or snow date, please so note. You may also attach a photo, flyer, or brochure to your message.
Please submit your event listing at least two weeks in advance. Most listings are added to the Calendar within four days. We will contact you only if we have questions. Submissions that are too vague or do not the three criteria at the top of this page will not be added.
