There’s Still Tomorrow
Two Screenings: January 3 + 4, 10:00 a.m.
Set in an occupied postwar Rome, a working-class woman struggles for a better future for her family while facing abuse from her domineering husband. Gritty Italian neo-realism embraces surrealism and comedy as the woman is presented with an opportunity to change her life circumstances — but will she find the courage to welcome it?
The film was an Italian box office phenomenon and won six David di Donatello Awards (Italian Academy Awards). The New York Times gushed, “Critic’s Pick! An effortless balance of humor and tragedy. Unfolds with timeless verve and romanticism.”
In Italian with English subtitles.
