Looking for answers to the who, what, where, and why's of the world around us!

 

August 5th: Medicine Makers w/Maine Discovery Museum*  

Observe what happens when an antacid medicine mixes with water. After observing, it'll be your job to recreate an antacid medicine with the chemicals you are given. Kit available  as of 7/27/20

August 12th: Slime Specialist w/Maine Discovery Museum*
Students, you will be given a sample of slime.
Observe the texture of the slime and using the formula you are given, you will need to use additional chemicals to make your slime the same texture as the sample of slime given to you. Kit available as of 7/27/2020.
 

* Maine Discovery Museum is providing kits for their programs to be picked up the week before during ^Library To Go hours while supplies last. One kit per family please. Do the project prior to attending so we can discuss the results!

 

Marisa Kelly from the Maine Discovery Museum will provide kits to be picked up the week before the program(s) to be handed out through our library to go service. Do the project prior to the program and we will discuss the results via Zoom! Registration for each session (limit one kit per family, space is limited.)
