Mid-Maine Homeless Shelter Open House

FreeAt the Mid-Maine Homeless Shelter, the new YES program (Youth Empowerment Supports) will begin to provide affordable housing for youth, 18-24 years of age. Come join us Feb 24, 2017 to find out all about it.
This transformational housing will include 2 one-bedroom apartments, 4 efficiencies, and a suite of 6 single rooms with private baths, a common kitchen, and shared living room.
There will also be space and support programs to provide opportunities for building positive life skills as well as participating in life improving programming with such programs as:
- Career Development
- Rent Smart Classes
- Financial Independence Training
- House Navigation
- Education Navigation
- Prevocational Skills Building
- Community Involvement
- Case Management
