United Way of Kennebec Valley Campaign Celebration

January 29, 4:30 PM6:00 PM

$20

As UWKV wraps up its 2024 campaign season, the organization invites the community to come together to reflect on the progress made and the challenges that remain. The Campaign Celebration will spotlight the ALICE* population, recognize outstanding contributions from campaigns, partners, and supporters, and inspire continued efforts toward building a more equitable Kennebec County.

  • Tickets: $20 per person or $150 for a table of eight
  • Attendees are encouraged to bring a basic needs item to benefit the Waterville Area Essentials Closet and Bridging the Gap.

UWKV is committed to making this event accessible for all. An ASL interpreter will be provided.

This celebration serves as a moment to honor the community's collective efforts and to reaffirm a shared commitment to addressing the barriers that hold families back.

*More than 41% of Kennebec County households fall below the ALICE Threshold, not making enough to meet a basic cost of living. ALICE households and households in poverty are forced to make tough choices, such as deciding between quality child care or paying rent — choices that have long-term consequences not only for their families, but for all. So often, ALICE is ignored. At UWKV, ALICE is our “why,” and we are working every day to lift ALICE up! FMI: https://uwkv.org/
