A white author gets sucked into the heart of contemporary Native American life in the sparse lands of the Dakotas by a 95-year-old Lakota elder and his sidekick. A road movie like no other, Neither Wolf Nor Dog is adapted from the best-selling Native American novel by Kent Nerburn. Once known as the great unmade Native American novel in Hollywood, Nerburn’s book has sold over half a million copies worldwide. No other novel is acknowledged as so successfully bridging the gap between white America and the Native American world. 97 year old Dave Bald Eagle is the real star of this amazing movie, which climaxes at Wounded Knee. “By the time the end credits arrive, the characters of this modest, crowd-funded feature are practically unforgettable”—Colin Covert, Minneapolis Star-Tribune. (Unrated, 110 min.)

Neither Wolf Nor Dog has screenings all week, Friday, Sept. 15 – Thursday, Sept. 21, at 2:25, 4:45 and 7:00 each day.
