What Happened? How Did Electricity Get So Expensive?

Public Advocate William Harwood will address the underlying reasons why electricity prices are unusually high and what can be done to lower them. Specifically, he will focus on the unpredictability of Standard Offer prices, the option of selecting a Competitive Electricity Provider, the benefits provided to renewable energy developers, the rising cost of restoration of service after major storms and, finally, the need to provide financial assistance to low income ratepayers.

Location: Colby/Coburn Rm., Best Western Plus.
Registration: $23 for Chamber members in advance or $29 at the door and for non-members.
