Art Kits for All: Cornhusk Doll

November 19, 2020, 4:00 PM5:00 PM

Free

Under the guidance of art teacher Jessica Hamilton-Jones, students at Waterville Alternative High School are creating this week’s art kit! Make your own cornhusk doll. A corn husk doll is a Native American doll made out of the dried leaves or “husk” of a corn cob. The kits will be distributed at the Alfond Youth & Community Center from 4:00 p.m. or until supplies last. A number of kits will be available for the Alfond Weekend Backpack Program!

You can also watch our latest Art Kit How-To by volunteer Katie Squires!
