Balance and Imbalance: A Celebration of Nature and a Call to Action

November 15, 2019, 11:30 AM

Marnie Sinclair is a process artist raised in the tropics and now making her home on the rugged coast of Maine. Inspired by nature, Sinclair works in many different mediums but prefers sculpture for its tactual quality. She is also an environmental activist who often uses her art to visually express the many complicated issues that surround climate change. Her work can be seen in Maine at the Redfield Artist Gallery in Northeast Harbor, the Landing Gallery in Rockland, Gifts at 136 in Damariscotta, the Portland Art Gallery, and her own gallery, the Sinclair Gallery in Damariscotta. Lunch at 11:30, lecture at noon.
