Beginning Pottery

Come explore the world of clay!
This six-week pottery class will teach students the basics of throwing clay on the wheel. The class will start with clay basics and expand to creating mugs, bowls, plates, and other objects based on student interests. Skills that will be developed include centering, shaping, trimming, handle making, and decoration as well as glazing. The instructor will work actively with each student. No experience necessary.
Class continues on Wednesdays through January 9, except no class on December 26 . Tuition is $175. Registration is required. Class is limited to 6 students.
